Big Max Terra 5 Golf Bag Review – The Big Max Terra 5 is a light, yet sturdy cart bag that offers pretty much everything you could want from a golf trolley bag.
The 14 way divider keeps clubs well organised and the external putter holder is great for getting at the flat stick with the minimum of fuss.
Big Max Terra 5 Golf Bag
There are 10 pockets and they are all very well placed and offer easy access. We particularly like the cool pocket fro drinks and the dry pocket for gloves. The main base pocket however is hard to fit in anything that is not slim if the cool pocket is being used as the latter bulges into the base pocket.
The Big Max Terra 5 also has a rain hood stored in a thin pocket at the base of the bag so that you can quickly open it and pull it over the bag. It remains attached to the bag using a velcro strap so that you can also detach it to dry it afterwards.
It is quite a light hood so will won’t keep out a monsoon, but combined with the sturdiness of the bag it has so far kept everything dry in a so-called British summer.
The strap fix under the bag holds the bag strap in place when you are using on a trolley so that you can easily use it to transport the bag to the cart without having to take it on and off.
In addition the top and bottom grab handles are positioned well to make it easy to lift the bag in and out of a car.
Overall the Big Max Terra 5 is a well thought out golf bag and you will be hard pushed to find anything that does the job better.
