Cobra S2 Fairway Wood – The Cobran S2 fairway wood has a taller clubface compared to previous Cobra models and this is certainly noticeable but we were glad to see that it still sat beautifully behind the ball at address and the larger face provides a welcome confidence boost rather than an unwelcome distraction.
Like the drivers in the range Cobra have also worked to improve the impact sound and we’re happy to report that their efforts have been successful with both the feel and sound at impact a real improvement on previous models which certainly adds to the impression that the whole package is a quality wood. The performance also won our approval with the trajectory really impressing and shots being very easy to shape and control.
We struggled to find fault with the Cobra S2 fairways and we feel this is one of the best new fairway woods to hit the market and we’d certainly encourage you to give them a try.
