More Masters bets placed on Woods than any other player

With his runner-up finish at the Valspar Championship injecting life into his latest comeback effort, Tiger Woods has become a popular wager in Las Vegas.

When the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook opened betting on the 2018 Masters back in August, Woods was listed at 100/1 with no sign of a return to competition on the horizon. But after stepping back inside the ropes in December and igniting the crowds around Innisbrook Resort with his T-2 finish Sunday, Woods’ odds are all the way down to 10/1.

While those odds still leave him behind world No. 1 Dustin Johnson and No. 2 Justin Thomas, Woods is ahead of every player in the field in terms of number of bets placed at Westgate. As of this weekend, Woods accounts for six percent of the total tickets printed, with Rickie Fowler, Thomas, Phil Mickelson and Jordan Spieth rounding out the top five.

Woods has also accounted for seven percent of the total money wagered at Westgate, ahead of Jason Day and behind only Thomas, Jon Rahm and Johnson.

Here’s a look at the latest odds, with the Masters just three weeks away:

8/1: Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas

10/1: Tiger Woods

12/1: Jordan Spieth

14/1: Jon Rahm, Jason Day

16/1: Justin Rose

18/1: Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson

20/1: Rickie Fowler

25/1: Paul Casey, Bubba Watson

30/1: Sergio Garcia, Hideki Matsuyama, Tommy Fleetwood

40/1: Marc Leishman

50/1: Patrick Reed, Alex Noren, Thomas Pieters

60/1: Patrick Cantlay, Adam Scott, Brooks Koepka, Henrik Stenson, Matt Kuchar, Louis Oosthuizen

80/1: Branden Grace, Brandt Snedeker, Daniel Berger, Rafael Cabrera-Bello, Xander Schauffele, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Charley Hoffman, Tony Finau, Brian Harman

100/1: Zach Johnson, Kevin Kisner, Charl Schwartzel, Webb Simpson
