Nike SasQuatch Sumo2 Driver – Maybe there had been too much hype, but we were a little under-whelmed with the Nike Sasquatch Sumo2.

If you are as long as Fred Funk and as accurate as John Daly, then this will not transform you into being as accurate as Funk and as long as Daly.

That said it is a very forgiving club on off-centre hits, but if you cut or hook it then it will still move. The composite crown does not give as much feedback as the all titanium head of the Sumo driver and the noise at impact will certainly get you noticed.

Unlike Callaway’s square driver, there are no weights in the back of the head, which looks very good despite being an unusual shape.

The Sumo2 is definitely a club for the mid to high handicapper who hits a lot of off-centre shots.

We think better players should go for the more traditionally shaped Nike Sasquatch Sumo driver.
