Original story:

Several PGA Tour and LPGA pros make their homes in Florida, which took a beating from Hurricane Irma on Sunday.

And while some – like Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Michelle Wie, Brooks Koepka and Luke Donald – got out of town before the storm struck, some stuck it out and hunkered down as Irma ripped up the west coast of the Sunshine State.

One of those pros was former world No. 1 Greg Norman, who posted a couple videos of the wind and rain at his home in Jupiter, Fla.:

This is my 9th experience to some degree with hurricanes/cyclones either directly or like this one Irma, the outer bands. Even though it is nearly 200 miles away to the SW these outer bands keep coming through dumping copious amounts of rain and with wind gusts in the 65-70 mph range spawning tornados. My thoughts and prayers go out to all in Florida experiencing or about to experience this big bad SOB. Be safe and be smart all.

Wow. More of this to come thanks to Irma.

Ian Poulter shared photos of his boarded up house in central Florida, and others sent their thoughts and prayers to the place they call home:

These Hurricanes are hard to predict so you can never take enough precautions.. I hope this is not needed at all…

Closing my eyes in France. Prob won't sleep very well. Super worried about my family. And if the power goes out and I can't get ahold of anyone I'm really going to be scared. Please God let the next 24 hours go by quickly and keep my family Along with everyone else in Florida safe. #amen (This pic is at my house. I've never seen the water this low before. Thank God we got my boat out of the water. Not sure about those other 2)

It’s too early to know the full extent of the damage caused by Hurricane Irma, but the victims of this natural disaster will need some help getting back on their feet.
