TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 Fairway Wood – The TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 fairway wood features a white head and comes in 4 lofts from 15 to 21 degrees.

In addition to the colour the first thing you notice is the size of the clubhead which has a large footprint, generating lots of confidence when it sits behind the ball.

The head is rounder and deeper than the R11 fairway and the centre of gravity has been moved lower and deeper for a higher launch, but the trajectory was still very good and we found it did not balloon up in the air but rather flew on an impressive, powerful trajectory.

We like oversized fairway woods and at address the Burner Superfast 2.0 fairway sat beautifully behind the ball and the face looked reasonably square for this type of club so we think all players could use this.

The sound and feel was excellent and the tacky grip in particular helps the lovely feel from this club so we would recommend trying this out.

For better players there is also a TP version of the Burner Superfast 2.0 fairway which comes in 13 and a half, 15 and 18 degree versions with a toe weight and like the TP driver has a slightly more open face and a fixed toe weight to create a neutral or fade bias for better players.
