TaylorMade Rescue Fairway Wood – The TaylorMade Rescue Fairways have improved on the Rescue Mids design by making the face larger and the head deeper.

This gave much more of a wood feel to what is a rescue club design. The shorter shaft for this type of club also gave a lot of control.

TaylorMade Rescue Fairway Wood

It is designed to get the ball up in the air, but we found you can hit it low if you want to so it passed on the workability front. The contact was solid and pretty forgiving on off-centre hits so a real all round club for players needing help from all areas of the course.

Not bad for a steel headed club and a good buy, but we think there are better steel headed fairway woods out there.
