Callaway X Fairway Wood Review

Callaway X Fairway Wood Review

Callaway’s fairway woods have always been one of the better models in the market, although in recent times they have failed to impress.

Having tested the Callaway X Fairway woods we think that they are back on track. Taking all the styling cues from the original Big Berthas and Steelheads of the past, the head looks great and the new X design sole plate does a great job of aligning the club up properly at address.

The sound and feel at impact is excellent and each model proved its worth from off the tee, off the deck and from poor lies.

Very forgiving for a club head of this size and combined with all the classic Callaway design features as the short hosel and thru-bore shaft construction, the Callaway X Fairway is definitely one for your bag.
