Mickelson still trails Woods in Masters odds

A playoff win in Mexico snapped a five-year victory drought for Phil Mickelson, but it still left him behind Tiger Woods when talking betting odds for the upcoming Masters.

Mickelson opened at 30/1 at the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook back in August, and last week his odds for a fourth green jacket were 25/1. But after he outlasted Justin Thomas at the WGC-Mexico Championship, Mickelson’s odds were trimmed to 18/1 – just behind Woods, who is sitting steady at 16/1.

World No. 1 Dustin Johnson remains the favorite at 8/1, followed by 2015 winner Jordan Spieth and Thomas, who are now level at 10/1 following Thomas’ Honda win and Mexico runner-up. Here’s a look at the latest odds, courtesy of the Westgate:

8/1: Dustin Johnson

10/1: Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas

12/1: Rory McIlroy, Jason Day, Jon Rahm

16/1: Tiger Woods

18/1: Phil Mickelson

20/1: Rickie Fowler, Justin Rose

25/1: Hideki Matsuyama, Bubba Watson

30/1: Tommy Fleetwood

40/1: Sergio Garcia, Marc Leishman

50/1: Alex Noren, Thomas Pieters, Paul Casey, Brooks Koepka

60/1: Adam Scott, Henrik Stenson, Matt Kuchar, Louis Oosthuizen, Patrick Reed, Daniel Berger, Kevin Kisner, Tony Finau

80/1: Branden Grace, Rafael Cabrera-Bello, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Charley Hoffman, Xander Schauffele, Brian Harman
