Ping i20 Fairway Wood Review

Ping i20 Fairway Wood Review

Ping i20 Fairway Wood – The matt black finish and neutral set up of the Ping i20 fairway wood looks great behind the ball and a real feeling of confidence. Right from the first shot we loved the sound at impact, with a powerful, loud noise off the face.

Compared to the average fairway the Ping i20 has a low-profile that makes it great off the deck, but it feels a bit taller than the i15 and other ping woods of the past.

You can get your Ping i20 fairway wood with either Ping’s TFC 707F shaft designed for low-spin and boring trajectory, or the lighter Project X Black shaft by True Temper that offers a mid-spinning, higher ball flight.

The tungsten weights on the sole give it a good penetrating flight and it was also very easy to work the ball both ways. The head size is on the right side of compact and the i20 seems a little more forgiving than most other better player fairways and is definitely one to consider for single figure players.
