Poulter calls for gun ban in wake of Vegas massacre

There have been plenty of calls to revisit American gun laws in the wake of the mass shooting in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Count Ian Poulter on that side of the argument, after he took to Twitter Wednesday to advocate changing the Second Amendment to make guns illegal, saying Americans had been “brainwashed” and calling out President Donald Trump and Congress directly.

@POTUS @realDonaldTrump YOU MUST CHANGE THE SECOND AMENDMENT.. BUYING GUNS MUST BECOME ILLEGAL.. HOW MANY MORE NEED TO DIE. ITS PATHETIC.

America WAKE UP NOW @POTUS @realDonaldTrump & Congress change this now before more innocent people die.. America you have been brainwashed. pic.twitter.com/gxvhYjTqJt

It is a "miracle" how fast the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police were able to find the demented shooter and stop him from even more killing!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 4, 2017

What's "demented" is being allowed to buy such weapons in the first place..
A "miracle" would be a ban on such weapons…. come on Donald. https://t.co/YiJbcqtTAi

Poulter has never been one to shy away from controversy, generally voicing his opinion on particular topics whether it’s popular or not. The Englishman maintains a residence in both Central Florida and southeast England, as he has played on both the PGA and European Tours for years.

The 41-year-old was keenly aware that his Twitter tirade had ruffled some feathers and, in true Poulter fashion, that didn’t seem to bother him one bit.

I've tickled a few bottoms today…
