Sonartec NP-99 Fairway Wood – The Sonartec NP99 fairway wood is named after Nick Price, who helped design this club. As you would therefore expect, it is for the better player.

The NP99 It has a longer, shallower face than the Sonartec 2.5 and 3.5 and the back of the cavity is slightly wider. This makes the sweet spot slightly smaller, but the feel and sound it makes are excellent.

The shallower face also means it is very good out of bad lies and some rough, behaving more like the MD Transition utility club.

The Sonartec NP99 fairway wood comes with a choice of high quality standard shafts from Fujikura and others and is a very good investment for lower handicappers.

In our opinion higher handicappers should try out the 2.5 or 3.5 fairways.
