After an offseason giving chipping lessons on social media, Phil Mickelson showed off his short game Thursday at the Desert Classic.
Sitting at 9 under through 13 holes at La Quinta Country Club, Mickelson chipped in for birdie at the par-4 14th hole to reach double-digits under par.
